ET-KING: single collection
Hip-hop/reggae group ET-KING is releasing their first best-of compilation on March 17th! Titled simply Single Collection, the album will contain all 11 of their singles released so far, plus new recordings and unreleased tracks for a total of 15 songs.
The Single Collection will come in 3 flavors: A “nice price” edition with just the songs (1,905 yen); a “Type A limited edition” (3751 yen) with 3 discs; and a 2-disc “Type B limited edition” (3143). The Type A edition comes with a CD containing 10 fan-selected songs, plus a DVD with music videos, behind-the-scenes footage, and documentary clips. The Type B edition comes with the CD containing the 10 fan-selected songs, but no DVD.

Monkey Majik: new single “Sakura”
Alternative rock band Monkey Majik is releasing their new single Sakura on March 17th, 2010. Sakura, their 13th single, will contain three tracks: “sakura,” “with you”, and the acoustic version of “sakura.”
The single will come in limited and regular editions, with the limited edition including a DVD with clips from a recent live performance. The tracks on the DVD include “Change”, “Bicycle”, “goin’ places”, “I Miss You”, “kanpai”, “broke down”, and “sora wa maru de.” The limited edition will sell for 1724 yen, while the regular edition is 962 yen.
I am hoping that this new single means they will be releasing an album soon, as I adore their previous single “aishiteru.”

L’Arc-en-Ciel: Quadrinity best selections
The veteran rock band L’Arc-en-ciel is releasing a massive best-of compilation on March 10th, 2010! Titled Quadrinity, the package will contain 4 discs, each one with 7 tracks selected by one of the 4 band members, for a total of 28 songs.
The album will come in limited and regular editions. The limited edition includes a bonus DVD containing a clip of the “L’Ar Quize” TV show; this version will retail at 4743 yen. The regular edition will retail for 3790 yen.

INORAN: new album “Watercolor”
INORAN, ex-guitarist and co-founder of Luna Sea, is releasing a new album on March 10th, 2010. The album, titled Watercolor, will be his fifth original album effort to date. It will contain 10 tracks written, played, and sung by the artist himself, including the songs “Daylight” and “shike”, which were played during his 2009 live tour.
The first press will come with a bonus DVD with a music clip to the new song “Daylight.” The album will retail for 2667 yen. Track list given below:

Remioromen: “Kachofugetsu”
Alternative band Remioromen is releasing their 5th original album on March 3rd! The album title is Kachofugetsu, which refers to Japanese aesthetics regarding nature. Kachofugetsu will mark Remioromen’s upcoming 10th anniversary and contain 12 tracks.
It will be released in a limited edition and regular edition. The limited edition will come with a “Kachofugetsu movie” DVD containing live clips of all of the tracks and retail at 3800 yen. The album will feature collaborations with 23 different artists on a total of 11 tracks. Maaya Sakamoto: 15th Anniversary Album!
Singer, voice actress, and stage performer Maaya Sakamoto is releasing her 15th anniversary album on her 30th birthday! The best-of compilation, to be titled Everywhere, will be released on March 31st. It will contain 30 tracks selected by Maaya herself, from among the 18 singles and 10 albums that she has released in her career. The album will also contain a new song, “Everywhere,” which is written and composed by Maaya, and remixes to her recent single “Magic Number,” and “Loop.”
The album will be released in the high-fidelity SHM-CD format (compatible with regular CD players), with a limited edition that includes a DVD containing music clips to “Everywhere” and “Magic Number.” This will go on sale for 3,780 yen. In anticipation of her 15th anniversary, nine of her previous albums will be reissued on March 24, 2010.
